Many of my patients know that I urge them to take probiotics, eat yogurt, kefir and/or fermented vegetables/foods. We need good bacteria in our digestive system for optimal health, a strong immune system, balanced mood to name a few benefits.

Traditionally we used to eat more fermented and cultured foods than we do now and we are also exposed to more antibiotics, refined sugars, chlorinated water and meats filled with antibiotics that destroy this healthy balance in our intestinal flora.
